Massage is a useful way of
relieving stress and muscular pain, as well as being relaxing. A foot massage
not only keeps your feet flexible and healthy, it also helps refresh your whole
body. Here’s a quick three-step guide to foot massage, beginning with the toes.
Work on one toe at a time. Hold the toe and move it in a circular motion, then
wiggle the top joint. Next, grip the base of the toe between your thumb and
index finger, pulling up to stretch the toe.
Second, massage the bottom of your
foot by pulling the knuckles of your
clenched fist slowly up, from heel to toe.
Third, hold your foot in both hands. Press your fingertips into the sole of the
foot – and then slide them out towards the sides. While giving yourself or
another person a massage, remember to concentrate on the movements and use
rhythmic strokes.
